RESEARCH FOR NOTHING
Research for Nothing, performed in Sala Omnia in Bucharest, was the culmination of one year of collaborative artistic research by Manuel Pelmuș and Anton Skaaning Thomsen. It is informed by materials from Manuel Pelmuș’ PhD, “Permanent Collection – simultaneous ongoing action”, several independent projects, alongside additional research.
Adrian Ganea created site-specific scenography for the performance. All photos on this page are by Adrian Ganea.
Thank you to The National Centre for Dance Bucharest for making the performance possible.

A multimodal body moving through an open temporality. Open-ended research for nothing. Modulating the haunted space through traces of histories and memories, sampling, transforming together with the audience. I am not just one body or one identity.
