EKSORBITANT
Eksorbitant is a short film about youth, pressure, and stress presented at Off Track Festival 2021. It was awarded as a gold medalist at The Next Film Festival.
Eksorbitant visualises a young life rushing by, where the main character experiences a feeling of alienation from her own everyday life. The film is aimed at young people who can relate to a pressured everyday life without the time and energy needed to reflect.
The project was created in an interdisciplinary collective process by a leading creative team consisting of three students from the Danish Talent Academy. Young actors, dancers, writers, composer, and costume designer have helped shape the project, which has resulted in a short film that tries to upon up a space for reflection for young people.
